Dealership Fraud
& Misrepresentation

December 19, 2012  |   Florida Lemon Law

Dealerships & Repair FraudFlorida's Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act may provide consumers with the means to protect themselves (with the help of a skilled attorney), but they must also abide by any and all contracts they enter into with you during your purchase. This is both written and spoken, by anyone representing the dealership.

For instance, a dealership can not tell you that a car's never been in an accident when they know (or suspect) that it has. Additionally, if they DON'T KNOW whether it has or hasn't been in any prior accidents, they cannot claim ignorance and say that it has. If they don't know one way or the other if a car has been in an accident, had cosmetic damage repaired or any other major (or minor) repairs, then they cannot just pick the better choice and say the cars history is spotless and later says "OOPS! Sorry, I wasn't aware.".

Florida law says that's wrong and we can help get you compensation! Don't think that just because your car isn't a Lemon that you have to just take the lies and abuse some dealerships use on a regular basis.
